Black’s Shoes was established in 1972. Jim Black, who has worked in the business for over 30 years, took over the trading of the shop in July 2008 along with his wife Beverley. Black’s Shoes is situated in Cookstown – the retail capital of Mid Ulster – on the busy main street with free on street parking available outside the shop and free car parks nearby. Jim and Beverley have extended the range of footwear available including the ladies range which now includes a wide range of brands such as Marco Tozzi, Lunar, Ruby Shoo, Tamaris, Redz and Carrou that compliments the existing range. The range includes: LADIES: wide range available of comfort, casual, fashion, sandals, boots, matching shoes and bags, patterned wellingtons, slippers and booties. MENS: both leather and leather lined shoes in a wide range of styles, wedding and formal shoes, casual wear, safety footwear, wellingtons. CHILDREN’S: back to school shoes for both boys and girls, trainers, pumps, boots, sandals, and now stocking Chatterbox. SPECIALITY: Irish dancing pumps and socks, dancing shoes. SHOE CARE: protector, polish, cleaning spray, shoe horn, insoles, laces.
